The primary investment objective of Littlejohn & Co., LLC is to achieve substantial risk-adjusted returns by making a broad range of investments in middle market companies that Littlejohn believes present turnaround opportunities, are in financial distress or are simply underperforming their potential and can benefit from Littlejohn’s operational and strategic approach. Littlejohn, established in 1996, has invested about $5 billion in 29 companies and is presently deploying Littlejohn Fund IV.
Mr. Littlejohn is also Chairman and CEO of Littlejohn Capital, LLC, a family office based in Savannah, GA, whose primary objective is to make investments in lower middle market that can benefit from Littlejohn’s operational and strategic approach.
Prior to forming Littlejohn he co-founded Joseph Littlejohn & Levy in 1986 where he was the partner responsible for operations at portfolio companies.
Mr. Littlejohn is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
